About Margaret:
As a New Orleans, Louisiana native, Margaret experienced a vibrant arts community in her formative years. She began a love-affair with pencil drawing at an early age, which grew into a passion for painting during her teen years. She believes that art is a lifelong process and strives to perfect her skills by taking workshops, painting from life on location, associating with other artists, reading and studying great art—and painting, painting, painting! She holds an Associate of Arts degree from East Texas Baptist University.
Ms. Bobb has garnered several awards. Also, Margaret has had many life experiences to enrich her view of the world and her art, one of which is that she has been able to travel internationally. She is grateful to call beautiful, colorful Colorado her home for some 19 years now and counting. She says that her heart is in two places—the southwest and New Orleans.
It is her hope that her paintings will evoke a sense of joy, peace, harmony and rest to the viewer. Her works are collected nationally in private and corporate collections.
